CLASS TYPES
OPEN BOXING (MIXED)
These sessions are led by our full coaching team, either individually or together - bringing everyone under the one roof.
Mixed sessions are about bringing the full crew together — men's boxing, women's boxing, over 40s, and the 100 Club - all in one class.
Expect a combination of skills, drills, pad work, bag work, footwork, and partner work. These are solid, well-rounded sessions where everyone trains together, works hard, and lifts the energy. No matter where you fit in, Mixed Boxing is for all G-Six members looking to show up and put in.
JUNIOR BOXING
Junior Boxing is designed for all levels of junior boxers, focusing on both fitness and skill development. With multiple coaches on hand for every session, juniors are split into groups based on their skill and ability levels to ensure they are always supported and progressing safely. Our priority is safety, providing a fun, welcoming environment while giving opportunities for juniors to advance into conditioned-based and open sparring if they’re ready. For kids who want to take their boxing further, Junior Boxing offers the perfect pathway to more advanced training.
MINI BOXING
This class is for ages 5-9, focussed on fun, fitness, skill-building and encouraging working in a team environment. This class is designed to give young children an opportunity to get involved in the sport, and is all about providing a fun and safe environment. This class does not involve any sparring.
MENS BOXING
For men 16 + coached by Jake.
These sessions are a full hour focused on boxing, partner drills, skills, pad work, bag work, and more - all designed to sharpen your skills and make you a more well-rounded boxer, without any contact in this time slot.
Jake's pumped to be back on the floor, getting the boys in the ring, pushing each other, learning, improving, and building a solid boxing base.
And — it's a great space for the boys to be the boys. Bit of banter, good energy, no ego - just a crew of like-minded blokes getting it done.
WOMENS BOXING & WOMENS STRENGTH
For Women 16+
Led by Alison and Sarsha, the Monday & Wednesday boxing sessions focus on fitness and skills — with no sparring and no contact. Expect high-energy, fun sessions built around fundamentals, pad work, bag work, partner drills, and progressive skill development.
All women in these classes can also join Alison on the gym floor for guided strength training every Tuesday & Thursday, plus access & log extra workouts through the G6 app.
This complete boxing and strength training package is included at no extra cost for our women at G6.
OVER 40s BOXING
These classes, led by Joe are for our over 40s crew - men and women combined. These sessions are all about boxing for fitness and skill, mixing in pad work, bag work, and drills in a way that's relaxed, but still pushes you.
It's your own space, your own pace — a chance to train alongside people on the same page, build a bit of community, have a laugh, and still get the work done.
Whether you're in it to move better, feel sharper, or just be part of a solid crew — this one's for you.
MATCHED SPARRING - TUESDAY 7PM
Matched Sparring is a pre-structured, coach-controlled sparring session. All rounds are matched in advance, and walk-ins are not accepted.
It is compulsory to notify coaches through the sparring notification link (posted weekly).
You must register at least 24 hours prior, and your sparring time, ring, and partner will be posted on the morning of sparring - giving you the whole day to plan around it.
You'll be assigned a sparring slot within the 80-minute window, and are expected to complete the individual skill and bag work posted on the board before and after your designated time.
Coaches will be stationed at each ring to supervise, manage rounds, and ensure structure throughout the session.
No registration = No sparring.
TECH & CONDITION SPARRING - THURSDAY 7PM
This session is focused on skill development through structured, coach-led sparring.
There is no registration required, but all standard gear is still compulsory - 16oz gloves, headgear, and mouthguard.
This is not open sparring. The entire session is built around two formats:
Conditioned Sparring (not "conditioning") involves set drills like lead-hand only, backhand-only, partner A/B roles, corner work, ropes, centre ring control, and switch punching scenarios.
Tech Sparring is light-contact, technique-driven work focused on timing, distance, and ring IQ.
This is a key session to develop sharper habits, break down specific areas of the game, and build confidence before stepping into matched rounds.
OPEN SPARRING - SATURDAY 9AM
This is our all-club sparring session open to G-Six members and outside clubs. There is no registration required and no preset sparring times.
The floor is open for a 60 to 90-minute window of rotation-based sparring. You may do multiple rounds with one partner or rotate through different opponents as you go. Fighters are free to mix and match based on level, size, and experience.
We'll have multiple rings running, with coaches overseeing and managing the space.
This is a chance to get diverse rounds in and test your work in a high-energy environment. Standard gear is compulsory - 16oz gloves, headgear, and mouthguard.
Different to Tuesday's Matched Sparring - no set time, just show up ready to work.

Our fighters train off timetable in private, invite-only sessions. This includes both amateur and pro fighters. Training happens outside normal hours and is not open to members. Sparring times may be listed, but all other work is private and structured.

These three programs run privately and require registration. No walk-ins or casual access. Strictly structured, locked-in.
