What is Red vs Blue?
Red vs Blue is a 12-week boxing program designed for anyone—from first-timers ticking off a bucket list goal to novice boxers with a few fights under their belt.
We welcome all levels of experience, including those returning for their second, third, or even fourth round. Every fighter is matched based on skill & ability to ensure fair, competitive bouts.
Red vs Blue is more than a fight—it’s a journey that builds skill, confidence, and community, and is the perfect platform to build confidence & experience to step into further mainstream boxing.
Red vs Blue Boxing is fully sanctioned amateur boxing through the Combat Sports Authority, and The Australian Boxing League.
How does the program work?
The Red vs Blue program focuses heavily on fundamentals: balance, timing, range, defence, punch selection, and more.
Our goal is to develop well-rounded boxers ready to compete in a large-scale fight night under the Red vs Blue banner.
As you progress through the program, you'll sharpen your skills by participating in in-house sparring sessions as well as combined club sparring days with participating Red vs Blue clubs to foster camaraderie and healthy competition. While the ultimate showdown is the different clubs competing on fight night, our main goal is to create a strong, supportive boxing community where everyone improves together, helping to build a better platform for grassroots boxing!
How does the matching process work?
Matching in the Red vs Blue program is based on three factors: weight, skill level, and mentality. Coaches from Red vs Blue Clubs work together to ensure a clear and transparent process, focusing on more than just weight. By considering skill and mentality, we ensure every effort is taken to keep each fight as fair, competitive, and balanced as possible, giving every fighter the best experience.
